Early on Mario Landeros spent his time occupied with art. He turned his
creative energies towards music after a group of friends suggested
they form a band. In the subsequent
years that followed, Mario collaborated
with various musicians, experimenting with a number of genres along the way.
He attended college In Sacramento where he studied music production.
Afterwards Mario joined the team at J Street Recorders (Tesla, Papa Roach),
as a technical assistant and recording engineer.
During that time Mario started
studying film scoring under film
and television composer Wendell Yuponce
(American Princess, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Daisy Does America).
Mario eventually relocated to Los Angeles where he has worked on film, concert
and video game projects.
He has worked with Golden Globe winning composer Richard Horowitz (Any Given Sunday, The Sheltering Sky, Return to Rajapur) and highly acclaimed vocalist and composer Sussan Deyhim (Sleeper Cell, The Last Temptation Of Christ, The Kite Runner) . Along with Horowitz and Deyhim, Mario has worked on projects involving Frank Serafine (Star Trek, Addams Family, Hunt For Red October) and Gingger Shankar (Peter Gabriel, Passion Of The Christ, Saul Williams).
His most recent projects include music for the short films Dirt Nap and Stuicide.
